Build—But Be Still
“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” — Matthew 6:33 (NIV)
{first_name}, there’s a quiet danger in being a woman with a vision.
It’s easy to get caught in the doing—planning, building, writing, managing, creating. And before you know it, the very One who gave you the vision gets pushed to the sidelines of your day. Can you say ouch or amen?
But His presence was never meant to be an add-on. It’s the foundation. It encompasses everything we do- including the vision.
Time with God isn’t just for your spiritual health—it’s for your strategy. It’s where clarity is born. It’s where pride dies. It’s where fear loses its grip. And it’s where you remember who you’re building with… and why you started.
You don’t need to strive your way to success. You need to sit with the One who holds it all.
Even Jesus—full of power, full of purpose—withdrew often to lonely places to pray (Luke 5:16). Not because He lacked ability, but because He valued alignment.
The vision you carry is holy. But it becomes heavier when you try to build it without being filled first.
Let's Be Practical:
Start your day with five uninterrupted minutes in His presence—no requests, no distractions. Just sit, breathe, listen. Let Him lead before you begin.
Prayer:
Lord, I don’t want to build anything that doesn’t start with You. Center my heart. Calm my pace. Draw me back to stillness, so I can move forward with clarity and peace. In Jesus's name I pray. Amen.
Be Blessed
