
Do you ever have one of those nights where God decides to impart something to you in the wee hours of the morning? You know, the kind where He wakes you up and you're groggy and your flesh is fighting to go back to sleep? Yeah, I recently had one of those.
I was awakened at 3:40 AM by God, and He imparted this:
Potential is a process that is guided by faith and fueled by action.
Like my pastor often says, "say ouch or amen!"
See, we often think of potential as something far off—something we’ll tap into one day when the time is right. But God sees potential not as something distant, but something active and alive inside of you right now.
Think about a seed. It doesn’t look like much at first, but inside, it already carries everything it needs to become what it was designed to be. The only thing that seed requires is the right environment to grow—water, sunlight, and time.
The same is true for you.
God has planted something powerful inside of you, but it must be watered by faith and activated by action. That’s why I believe so strongly in my assignment—to water the potential I see in others with biblical encouragement.
Because sometimes, all we need is a reminder that what we are carrying is enough.
You don’t have to wait for more qualifications. You don’t have to wait until you feel "ready." The seed of purpose within you is already there, waiting for you to step forward in faith.
So, what will you do with the potential God has placed inside you? Will you let it lie dormant, or will you nurture it and allow it to grow?
The choice is yours, but know this: God is able to do immeasurably more than you can ask or imagine. And it all starts with believing that what He put inside you is already enough.
