Trust the Process | When God’s Refining Feels Too Hard
I want to talk to the woman who’s been trying to move forward in the vision God placed in her heart—but lately, you feel stuck.
Not because the dream has died… but because the process is heavier than you expected.
You’re not alone.
The process—those slow, uncomfortable, stretching steps that God uses to shape us—isn’t always easy to embrace.
It’s not always exciting. It’s not always pretty.
Sometimes, it’s painful. Other times, it’s exhausting.
And if we’re being real… it can make you question everything: your timing, your calling, even your closeness to God.
But hear me, friend—just because it’s hard doesn’t mean it’s not God.
God doesn’t just care about the purpose—He’s deeply invested in the person carrying it. That’s you.
And so yes, He allows a process.
Because your calling requires a version of you that is whole, rooted, pure, and ready.
So, what feels like a delay or a disruption… might actually be divine preparation.
This season? It might be your pruning season. Where God lovingly removes the things that can’t come with you into the promise.
False dependencies. Unforgiveness. Old mindsets. Hidden idols. Even fear masked as control.
And in their place, He’s depositing something stronger. Faith. Trust. Endurance. Healing. A boldness that won’t crumble under pressure.
I’ve lived this.
There was a time in my journey where I struggled deeply with forgiveness. I knew God was telling me to release the pain and the bitterness—but I didn’t want to.
It felt unfair. I wasn’t the one in the wrong. Why was I the one being asked to lay it down?
Truth is, it wasn’t that I couldn’t forgive—I just wouldn’t. And that unwillingness? It froze me. I couldn’t write. I couldn’t pour. I couldn’t move forward. My prayer life felt disconnected. My worship was routine. Because I was resisting the process… and it was costing me my purpose momentum.
Job 23:10 (NIV) says, “But he knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold.”
Friend, you are that gold. And God is refining you—not rejecting you.
You may be called to business, ministry, education, government, arts, media, or the family sphere—but no matter what mountain you're meant to influence, your character has to match your calling.
And that’s what this process is doing: aligning your heart with Heaven’s agenda.
So don’t let the stretching stop your steps. Don’t let the pruning make you panic. Don’t let the discomfort rob you of the destiny God already wrote over your life.
You will write again. You will build again. You will rise again.
And this time, you’ll do it stronger, wiser, more anchored in God’s truth than ever before.
So today, take a breath.
Take His hand.
And trust the process.
Because when it’s all said and done—you’ll be grateful you didn’t quit.
Be Blessed!
