What Is It Costing You?
Have you ever felt the weight of a vision you weren’t moving on?
Maybe you’re carrying a dream God placed in you—a book to write, a ministry to birth, a business to build—but instead of stepping forward, you find yourself hesitating. Waiting. Questioning.
Sis, what if I told you that sitting on what God gave you isn’t just delaying your journey—it's costing you something deeper?
It’s costing you peace because your spirit knows there's movement you're called to make.
It’s costing you confidence because every day you delay, you teach yourself to doubt what God already affirmed.
It’s costing you momentum because obedience breeds momentum, but hesitation breeds stagnation.
And maybe the hardest truth of all:
It's costing someone else’s breakthrough.
What you carry isn’t just for you. Your yes to God could be the answer to someone else's silent prayer.
The servant in Matthew 25 buried what his master gave him out of fear. He lost what could have multiplied because he sat still when he was called to move.
You don't need another sign. You don't need a perfect plan. You need to trust that what God placed in you is ready for the next step.
Today, ask yourself:
"What has sitting still already cost me? And what could obedience unlock?"
Your vision was meant to grow, not stay buried.
Your voice was meant to be heard, not hidden.
Your obedience was designed to ripple far beyond what you can see.
Rise up, woman of faith. Dust off the vision. Move anyway.
Scripture to Reflect On:
"Write the vision and make it plain..." — Habakkuk 2:2 (NIV)
