WHEN THE WAIT FEELS LONG, GOD IS ALIGNING YOUR HEART

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
— Psalm 34:18 (NIV)

There are moments in your purpose journey when the waiting begins to feel heavier than the work.

You haven’t stopped believing.
You haven’t walked away.
You’re still here — still hoping, still praying, still carrying the vision God placed in you.

But your heart is tired. So very tired.

Tired of doing the right thing without seeing much change.
Tired of wondering if you heard God clearly.
Tired of holding faith and disappointment in the same hands.

If that’s where you are, hear this gently:

God is not distant in this season.
He is close — and He is aligning you.

Not by rushing you forward.
Not by demanding more effort.
But by bringing your heart into agreement with His pace.

Alignment doesn’t always feel like direction.
Sometimes it feels like God helping you loosen your grip — on timelines, expectations, and the pressure to prove that something is happening.

What feels like waiting on the outside is often God settling something on the inside.

He is aligning your trust with His timing. Aligning your hope with His faithfulness. Aligning your heart so that when movement comes, it doesn’t come from fear — but from peace.

You may not see fruit yet, but alignment is already taking place. And alignment is never wasted.

Sit here for a moment and simply notice:

  • Where has my heart felt restless or heavy lately?

  • What expectations might God be gently asking me to release?

  • What would it look like to agree with God’s pace instead of resisting it?

There’s no pressure to resolve these questions — just to be honest before Him.

Prayer

God,
You see the weariness I carry and the hope I’m still holding.
Align my heart with Your timing and Your peace.
Help me release what I’m gripping too tightly
and trust that You are working — even here.
I choose agreement over anxiety today.
Amen
.

Alignment doesn’t always move you forward.
Sometimes it steadies you so you don’t move too soon.

You are not being delayed — you are being aligned.
And God is close to you in this season.

Keep walking.
Keep trusting.
He knows exactly where you are.

Be Blessed
